Jim McKenzie (b. 1953) is a Canadian artist best known for his hyper-detailed realist landscapes of coastal British Columbia. Born in New Westminster in 1953, he grew up in the Fraser Valley and studied art at the University of British Columbia, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1975..
Since his first one-man show in 1978, his career as a professional artist has spanned over thirty years. His paintings have grace both corporate and private collections across Canada. He currently lives and paints on Mayne Island, British Columbia.
